What Would You Say?

On the way to school and church this morning, I was listening to the K-Love radio station and they presented the following question….
What Biblical event would you like to have witnessed?
Wow! I did not know what I would pick? First thought was Easter Sunrise….being sad that Jesus is dead, but then seeing the empty tomb….What?!?!!? He’s alive?! Or how about Pentecost, something about flames of fire falling down and people all speaking in various languages…or how about Daniel and the lions den? I am also intrigued about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace and how they didn’t burn OR Saul’s transformation by God? It would be VERY tough to witness the crucifixion….I cry already every Good Friday. Jesus saving us is a big deal. I don’t know if I could pick ONE event to witness. What would you pick? Make this your question for the day to see what answers you get. Every time we dive into God’s Word, we witness God’s greatness, grace and mercy. We learn and grow in who He is and how He works in our lives. Join us at Memorial as we explore God’s Word and hope.
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.” Romans 15:4-5
